The McIntosh MA2375 is an all-analog integrated amplifier combining a vacuum tube preamplifier and vacuum tube power amplifier in a single chassis. Its output stage uses four KT88 power tubes and four 12AT7 driver tubes to deliver 75 Wpc into 4-, 8-, or 16-ohm loudspeakers, while the preamplifier section uses two 12AX7A and two additional 12AT7 tubes.

McIntosh Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers allow the MA2375 to deliver its full rated power into 4-, 8-, or 16-ohm loads. The amplifier also incorporates Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor technology, which monitors current through the KT88 output tubes and dynamically adjusts the input signal when necessary to keep the tubes operating within safe limits.

Six analog inputs include two balanced, three unbalanced, and one phono input that can be configured for either Moving Coil or Moving Magnet cartridges. The phonostage provides adjustable gain, capacitance, and resistance loading, allowing it to accommodate a broad range of cartridges without requiring an external phonostage.

A five-band analog equalizer provides additional tonal adjustment, while an unbalanced preamp output and dedicated subwoofer output expand system flexibility. McIntosh High Drive headphone circuitry with Headphone Crossfeed Director is included for private listening, and Home Theater PassThru allows the MA2375 to be incorporated into a multichannel system.

All-Vacuum-Tube Design

The MA2375 uses vacuum tubes in both its preamplifier and power amplifier sections. Four KT88 output tubes and four 12AT7 driver tubes handle power amplification, while two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 tubes are used in the preamplifier stage.

The dedicated phono input can be configured for either Moving Coil or Moving Magnet cartridges, with adjustable gain, capacitance, resistance loading, and RIAA equalization.

Five-Band Analog Equalizer

A five-band analog equalizer provides adjustable tonal shaping for recordings, loudspeakers, or room acoustics, with Tone Bypass available when no correction is required.

Subwoofer Output

A dedicated subwoofer output simplifies the addition of a powered subwoofer to extend low-frequency performance.

High Drive Headphone Amplifier

The front-panel headphone output incorporates McIntosh High Drive circuitry and Headphone Crossfeed Director technology for dedicated headphone listening.

Sentry Monitor

Sentry Monitor provides fuse-less short-circuit protection, disengaging the amplifier if operating conditions exceed safe limits and automatically restoring operation when conditions return to normal.

Home Theater PassThru

Home Theater PassThru allows the MA2375 to be incorporated into a multichannel system while retaining its normal role as a dedicated two-channel integrated amplifier.
